1. About billing on Talent Atrium
Talent Atrium is a product of MJB Strategic. All billing and payments are processed by MJB Strategic on behalf of Talent Atrium.
Talent Atrium uses a credit-based billing model. Recruiters pay for access and usage in advance. Credits are consumed when platform features are used. Candidate accounts are free to use.
This page explains how the billing model works, what credits are, how they expire, and what to expect at each stage.
2. Plans
Talent Atrium offers the following recruiter plans:
Pay-as-you-go: No subscription required. Purchase credits upfront and use them as needed. Credits expire six months from purchase.
Starter, Growth, Pro, Enterprise (Subscription plans): Each plan provides a fixed credit allocation per billing cycle, billed monthly in advance. The subscription renews automatically on the same date each month. Plans vary by credit volume and cost-per-credit. See the Pricing page for current rates.
All plan pricing is managed dynamically and may be updated from time to time. Pricing changes do not affect active subscriptions or credits already purchased.
3. What credits are
Credits are usage units. They are not monetary value. They cannot be: - Transferred between accounts - Sold or exchanged - Redeemed for cash
Credits are allocated to your account upon confirmed payment and are consumed when you use credit-gated features.
4. Types of credits
There are two types of standard credits:
1. Subscription credits: - Included in your monthly plan - Available from the start of each billing cycle - Expire at the end of the billing cycle - Do not roll over to the next cycle - Unused subscription credits are forfeited at cycle end
2. Additional purchased credits (top-ups): - Purchased separately, in addition to your plan - Expire six months from the date of purchase - Roll over within that six-month period - Remain available even if your subscription changes or lapses
Credit consumption order: When a credit-consuming action is triggered, subscription credits from the current cycle are used first. Additional purchased credits are only consumed after subscription credits are exhausted.
5. Rapid Match credits
Rapid Match is a separate paid feature that operates on its own dedicated credit type. Standard credits (whether subscription or purchased) cannot be used for Rapid Match.
Rapid Match credits must be purchased separately. They expire six months from the date of purchase and roll over within that period.
Rapid Match credit pricing is configured independently and is shown on the Pricing page and within the Rapid Match flow before any execution.
6. How credits are used
Credits are consumed when you perform credit-gated actions on the platform. Examples include: - Processing a candidate application (CV parsing + evaluation) - Running a matching engine evaluation - Executing a Rapid Match run (uses Rapid Match credits, not standard credits)
The credit cost for each action is displayed before execution. You must confirm the action before credits are deducted.
Once an action is confirmed and executed, it is considered completed and the credits consumed cannot be recovered.
7. Subscription billing cycle
Subscription plans renew automatically each month on the same date as your original sign-up.
Example: If you subscribe on the 5th, your plan renews every 5th. If you subscribe on the 31st and a month only has 30 days, renewal occurs on the last day of that month.
At each renewal: - The subscription fee is charged - A fresh credit allocation is added to your account for the new cycle - Credits from the previous cycle that have not been used expire
Payment is processed by Paystack on behalf of MJB Strategic. We do not store payment card details.
8. What happens when credits run out
If your credit balance reaches zero: - Credit-consuming features are paused - You can still view your dashboard, listings, and existing candidate evaluations - Vacancies remain visible on the job board but applications may be temporarily disabled until credits are available
To resume full access: - Top up your account with additional purchased credits, or - Wait for your subscription to renew (if applicable), or - Upgrade to a higher plan
You will receive email notifications when your balance reaches 75% and 95% used, and again when it is fully exhausted.
9. Currencies and tax
Pricing is displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) for South African users and United States Dollars (USD) for international users. Your default currency is detected automatically based on your location. You may change this in your billing settings.
Taxes may apply where required by law in your jurisdiction. Pricing shown on the platform does not include taxes unless explicitly stated.
10. Invoices
An invoice is generated for every completed payment. Invoices are available for download from your billing dashboard.
Each invoice includes: - Invoice number and date - Description of the product or credit purchase - Amount and currency - Your billing details (as saved in your profile)
To ensure your invoices include the correct company name, registration number, and address, update your company details in your billing settings.
11. Refunds and cancellations
Payments made for subscriptions and credit purchases are generally non-refundable. For full details, see:
- Refund Policy: /refund-policy - Cancellation Policy: /cancellation-policy
